Balancing the rim and tire assembly, commonly known as rocking, is mistakenly considered a basic step in our industry. Achieving perfect balance is essential for a comfortable ride, and this maximizes the mileage of all four tires under a vehicle. DO YOUR TIRES HAVE THE RIGHT PRESSURE?
The correct inflation tire pressure is that which is provided by the vehicle manufacturer and the tire manufacturers to provide the best grip, safety or load support behavior.
We should also talk about inflation pressures since the recommended pressures are often different at the front and rear, especially in the case of a loaded vehicle (by definition: more weight at the rear = more rear pressure).
WHERE TO FIND INFORMATION?
The appropriate inflation pressure can be communicated in different places: on the door stop, in the glove compartment, on the back of the fuel tank valve or in the vehicle maintenance booklet, for example.
The information is often indicated: the pressures dedicated to normal use, as well as those expected when the vehicle is loaded.
